You had a 50/50 shot of having something good happen to you during the Vegas event this week….hate to break it to you, but you lost the gamble. The answers you chose brought you a bad fortune. So for this week’s trip to Vegas, you need to write about something bad happening to your character. It could be anything from losing at the casino to losing a friend…or breaking up with a guy. Your choice. Just make a small note before or after your story saying what your “negative” story line is.

I had woken up with the worst head ache in the world, but it was comforted by black coffee and the smell of belgian waffles and bacon sitting next to me.
"Good morning." Caleb said to me, handing me the cup of coffee and two advil. I glanced around the room searching for a clock frantically. I didn't want Dee to think that I was kidnapped or something.
"Calm down it's only 10, what is your mom going to be waiting for you?" he asked me.
"You're lucky it won't be my dad with a shot gun." I said dryly. He gave me a "try me" look and then took a sip of his own coffee. I quickly ate and searched for my clothes. I was lying in bed in one of his college t-shirts and a pair of boxers.
"Your underwear and your dress are being dry cleaned." he told me, he was such a sweetheart.
"Really..?" I asked him in shock.
"Yea, wouldn't want you to leave with dirty clothes." he said to me with a smile.
"I'll bring them by later." he said. I nodded, grabbed my heels, kissed him quickly, and walked towards the door.
"Thank you, I really do have to shower and all though. And i'm sure Dee is worried about me. " I said.
"Oh so you're one of those?" he said playfully. He walked over, kissed me again, and held the door open as I scurried down the hallway. Thank god we were on the same floor, I would have been so embarrassed walking into an elevator like this. I walked into our room and it was pretty quite.
"Dee..?" I said. I walked over to her door and stopped when I heard hushed voices. She was probably talking to Tanner. I walked away and into my room to put my shoes away. When I walked out, Dee was saying goodbye to Tanner at the door.
"Oooooh." I said smirking. She whirled around looking completely off guard as she rushed to pull a t-shirt over her head.
"Oh my god. You startled me." she said. We talked for a few minutes as she caught me up on her night and I told her all about mine. Then we went our separate ways and got ready for the night. We were going gambling later, well. Most of us were, and others were probably going to trail away from the tables and maybe.. on top of the tables.
"What are you wearing later?" I asked Dee as I casually sat down on her bed in my robe, my hair was still wet. She was now wearing a pair of yoga pants and a cami as she did her hair.
"This." She said holding up a black glittery dress.
"Very chic." I nodded in approval. It was short, but still classy enough to not look so trampy. I sighed and stretched myself out across her bed as I watched her do her hair in the bathroom.
"I'm going to go get dressed." I said. I walked back into my room, blew my hair dry, pinned it up, and put on my dress. It was completely sexy, and in a dominate way too. I mean, who doesn't love a girl in a completely fitted black dress? I slipped on my fire engine red heels and put on a bunch of diamonds. I looked classy, and sexy, and very confident. Which, of course I was. There was a knock, and Dee got it.
"Effy, it's for you." Dee said. I heard the door shut and someone walk into my room.
"Hello gorgeous." Caleb said as he put his arms around my waist, and surprised me by kissing the back of my neck.
"You smell delicious." he said. His voice was soft, and almost made me want to just throw him on the bed and never leave the room. I smiled and turned around in his arms. His hands ran all along my curves and stopped on my ass.
"Ahem." I said, giving him a teasing smile. He held his hands up, pleading innocence. I laughed and grabbed my clutch.
"Alright come on." I said. Dee was just walking out with Tanner when we left. The city was louder tonight, and brighter, if that were possible. We got into a black sedan and drove away.
"So, I was thinking blackjack." he whispered.
"Good luck." I told him.
"Why do you say that?" he asked me.
"Because I always win." I said smiling. He kissed me again and we finally made it to the casino. We walked inside and heard cheering, and drunks, and everything and anything you think could be possible.. it was here in Vegas. Tonight though, I didn't feel like playing. Caleb sat down in a seat at a table that was looking pretty hot, as I rested my hands near his neck.
"I'm going to go get us drinks." I said. I went up to the bar and got some cocktails.
"Can I have a red rooster for me, and a gin and tonic." I asked him. It seemed to be Caleb's thing lately. I took a sip of my bitter-sweet drink and held his as I walked back to the table. To my surprise, Caleb had already racked up a bunch of poker chips.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------
"Hey, its late." I whispered in Caleb's ear. He looked up at me, he could tell I was a little tired.
"How late is late?" he asked me.
"It's almost 2:30 in the morning.." I told him. He nodded and glanced at his stacks and stacks of chips.
"Think I did good enough?" he asked me in a joking manner. I rolled my eyes and squeezed his shoulder.
"Comeeeeee on." I said. A casino attendant scooped up all his chips and cashed them for him.
"Well, I think I did pretty damn well." he said. We got out of the casino, and back in the same car we came in.
"Your room?" he asked me. I nodded.
"Good cause I needed a change of scenery, and your bed looks very comfortably quiet." he said. I laughed and leaned my head on his shoulder.
We got back to my room around three, the traffic was horrible. We stumbled in tiredly, waiting to make sure it was empty before we started to leave a trail of discarded clothing to my room. I stopped in the doorway and turned to face the bed. Caleb came right up behind me.
"I've been waiting to get you out of this dress, all. Night. Long." He said to me, running his hands all over my body.
"You have no idea how sexy you look." He said, kissing my neck and my shoulder as he unzipped my dress. He slid it off my body, walked in, and shut the door. He had me in bed a second later, his shirt and pants were already off. Boy, he was quick.
I giggled as he kissed his way down my stomach, I was so ticklish. He looked up at me and smiled.
"What?" he asked me.
"I'm really ticklish." I said still laughing. I shouldn't have told him this, because then he started tickling me and I couldn't stop him. I laughed so hard I was crying. And that wasn't the only thing that made me cry that night. (;

The next morning I woke up to Dee humming as she packed. Well, it wasn't really morning. So much as lunch time.
"Wake up sleep heads!" she said as she knocked on my door. Caleb rolled over and pulled me back into his arms tightly.
"Don't leave me." He said as he buried his face into my back. He kissed my back lightly and yawned. I smiled and crawled away from him, trying to get my pants on and a shirt.
"You, have to pack." I said to him. He nodded in his sleep and rubbed his eyes.
"Alright.. will I see you on the plane?" he asked me.
"No, I was planning on becoming a show girl. Sorry." I said flatly. She grabbed a pillow and threw it at me.
"Shut up." he said. He got up and got dressed. A few minutes later I was kissing him goodbye. I had to pack, a lot. My clothes were everywhere. Still in dry cleaning bags, on the floor in heaps, my toiletries were everywhere.
"Hey Dee?" I said, yelling through my open door into the sitting room.
"Hm?" she said walking up to my door.
"Have you seen my birth control?" I asked her. I should have known where it was considering I took it.. Oh my god. My jaw dropped, and before she could answer, she was rushing over to me.
"Oh my god.. did you forget to-"
"Bring it?" I said finishing her sentence. I had missed taking my pill for three days. Three days that I was having sex.. I missed my pill. How could I be so impossibly stupid?
"Okay, calm down. We can, we can figure this out. First you have to tell Caleb." Dee went on talking, but I was in a daze. I shook my head like a robot.
"I can't tell him." I said slowly. I collapsed backwards onto my bed and stared at the ceiling, clutching my hand over my stomach. There was no possible way there could be something growing inside me. Wouldn't I feel it? Okay, stupid question. But still.
"Or..." Dee said. I looked up at her. She had this slight look of disgust on her face.
"Plan-B.." I said. I was pro-choice, I was completely for women's rights to their bodies. But I don't think Dee was.
"That's like.. Plan Z to me." she said. I shook my head and stood up.
"I have until tomorrow to figure this out Dee, if Plan B is my option. And I have to figure this out quick. I can't get pregnant Dee. I can't." I said. I sighed and relaxed a little, knowing I DID have a way out. It let me at least finish packing. I didn't know how I would get on that plane and act like everything was alright, but somehow I managed. Maybe all these years of closing myself off from the world really did help.
